Umair A. Khan, Chairman
Umair founded Verisium in 2004 and serves as its Chairman. Umair was also
Founder and Chairman of Wordwalla, a venture-backed Silicon Valley company
providing multilingual software solutions for web and mobile. Umair also
co-founded Chowk, a niche web portal focusing on South Asia. He has over twenty
five industry patents granted or pending in Computer System Design and
Architecture, including four from his work as a Lead Engineer at Intel
Corporation. Umair received a BS in Mathematics with Computer Science (1992)
and an MS in Computer Engineering (1995) from MIT, where in 1991 he was elected
Institutional Nominee by the Department of Mathematics, as one of six
distinguished scholars in Mathematics.
Quinton Zondervan, Chief Technology Officer
Quinton Zondervan serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Verisium. Prior to
Verisium, Quinton served as the Chief Technology Officer at Clickmarks. In 1997
as part of Lotus (IBM), he co-founded the Mobile group at Lotus and architected
the mobile and wireless extensions to the Notes product line. He is one of the
inventors of SyncML and is highly regarded as a pioneer of the wireless
Internet. Quinton received his Masters degree in Computer Science from MIT in
1995 and his Bachelors from Eckerd College.
