Features
Verisium vManage offers the following features for integrated
bug tracking, test and requirements management:
Bug Tracking
Provides the ability to manage bugs for a project. You
can associate bugs with their respective test cases and requirements so they
can be reproduced and tracked. Bugs that are raised during vManage's scheduled
test-run are automatically populated into the database.
Test Management
Provides the ability to define and manage automated tests as well as manual
tests. You can create tests cases and associate them with automated test
scripts generated from vTest or other external scripts. Alternatively you can
manually create test cases along with their results and use vManage to let you
manage your project's test progress.
Test Scheduling
Provides the ability to create and execute the test plan. You can create and
execute schedules specifying when to run a given test. You can store vTest
scripts or other external scripts, execute them from the scheduling interface
and automatically store test results.
Test Reporting
Generates reports that give users the status of the overall testing
process. There are numerous reports that provide a bird's eye view of the
project and its health.
Requirements Management
Provides the ability to define and manage requirements for a
specific project. You can track the status of each requirement and associate
requirements with test cases or bugs.
Administration
Enables administrators to create and manage user accounts, set
project permissions, configure vManage's default options, and manage the test
management database.
Integration with vTest
Seamlessly integrates with vTest providing the ability to automatically launch
and execute scripts for functional testing as well as retrieve and archive test
results.
